Tasting Notes

Colour: Lemon gold.
Nose: Wet pebble, prawn cocktail and chive.
Palate: Salted grapefruit, cool mint ash and bright apricot.
Finish: Peanut and clove underpinned by a fresh, light peat.

Further Information

Croftengea (“Tree of the Pledge”) is one of several makes from Loch Lomond distillery, who use different phenol levels in their barley, and combine a variety of stills. Here, heavily peated barley meets lighter spirit production, performing a delicate balancing act in this bourbon hogshead of understated grace.
