Pedro Ximénez maturation is often associated with dense, syrup-driven flavour profiles. After 12½ years in a refill hogshead, this cask spent a further 3½ years in a first-fill PX barrique, developing a more old-fashioned style with earthy, savoury notes alongside Craigellachie’s muscular spirit character.
