Ex-bourbon hogshead #1938 shows as a more developed counterpart to the distillery’s benchmark 10-year-old, with heightened tropical esters and a notably waxy, full-bodied texture. This single cask expression was matured entirely in refill American oak, allowing the distillate’s character to take centre stage with minimal cask influence.
