Cask Speyside 12 Year Old - Sherry Finish

Our 12 year old has been matured in bourbon and then finished in sherry casks which have imparted rich, spiced berry and orchard fruit flavours. This Speyside malt is an indulgent contrasts to the refreshing citrus flavours of our Cask Speyside 10 Year Old and together they highlight the opposite ends of the flavour scale found in malts from this region.
Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Warm copper.
- Nose: Almond icing, dusted cinnamon, red apple and blackcurrant.
- Palate: Cherry plum, spiced honey and zesty orange marmalade.
- Finish: Rolling gently through subtle spice to a lightly tart, bramble conclusion
As with all the single malts in our Casks of Scoland range, this malt is non-chill-filtered and natural colour. Available in 700ml at 46% alc./vol.
